Manage app profile settings

Account admins and app profile admins can manage app profile settings to ensure proper configuration, maintain security, and tailor features to meet the organization's needs.

Note: Account admins can access all app profiles, while app profile admins can access only the app profiles to which they have admin access.

Navigate to Settings on the left pane.

On the left pane, select an app profile in the App Profiles field, and then select Settings.

The settings include the following options:

App information

It displays the app profile name, address, and description.

In the App Information tab, edit the information if required and click Save.

Branding

It customizes your app profile with a logo and theme.

In the Branding tab, upload a logo, select a theme, and click Save.

Carousel

It displays moving images at the top of the news feed below your app logo.

Note: You can add a maximum of five images to the carousel.

In the Carousel tab,

  1. Type the carousel title and browse and upload the image.
  2. Type the content name and select it.

Or

        Copy the content link available in the news feed and paste it to the carousel if required.

  3.   Click Add.

Note: Content must be uploaded and tagged to all employees to add it to the carousel.

After adding the carousel, you can manage its images if required.

Hover over the uploaded images and click one of the following options as required.

    • Click the Six Dot Six dot Icon to reorder them.
    • Click the Edit edit grey-2 Icon to edit them.
    • Click the Delete Delete Grey Icon to delete them.

Policy permission

    • If you provide and enable the app policy, when employees log into their mobile app for the first time, they can view it.

                 Type the app policy, enable Turn app policy on, and click Save.

Note: Employee must acknowledge to read the app policy on their mobile app.

    • You can give admin permission to any employee for a specific app profile.

Note: To have admin permissions, an employee must be a registered user of that specific app profile.

In the Policy Permission tab, click the drop-down, type the employee’s name or email ID, and click Save.

Note: The employee must be registered in the app.

Controls

    • Google translates the alert notes, comments, and content titles to match the settings of the employees' devices.

                 In the Controls tab, Enable Translation.

                 In the Controls tab, click Delete and then click Confirm.

Note: Only the account admin can delete the app profiles.

    • Send text message alerts to employees who have opted in

Note: Contact our support team to enable the SMS setting for your organization.

                  In the Controls tab, Enable Text Message (SMS).
