After creating an engagement survey, authors can add sections and questions and manage if required.
Note: You can share an engagement survey only after adding a question.
Add section and question
After creating an engagement survey, you are directed to the survey edit page, where you can add multiple sections to it and multiple questions to each section.
You can also add them by performing the following actions:
Navigate to Survey on the left pane.
- Scroll down to the All Surveys field and click View All on the right.
2. Select the Engagement tab and then select an engagement survey where you want to add sections and questions.
3. In the Questionnaire tab, click Add Section Title.
4. Type the section title and description and click SAVE.
5. Click ADD QUESTION and select a question type.
6. Type the question and click SAVE.
Note: Agreement choice-type questions are mandatory. You can mark them as a driver question.
Based on your requirements, you can
- Add multiple sections and multiple questions in each section.
- Enable a follow-up text question for the agreement choice and employee net promoter score question types.
- Make the question mandatory for the employee net promoter score and text question types.
- Set the maximum character limit for the text question type.
- Make the agreement choice question a driver question.
You can add multiple sections.
Click +ADD SECTION to add another section.
Manage section and question
After adding sections and questions, you can manage them.
In each section, perform the following action as required:
- Click the Overflow
Menu and select Delete Section or Reorder Sections.
- Click the Edit
Icon to edit the section.
Note:
- You can view the overflow menu at the top right of a section only after adding another section. This means you cannot delete or reorder a section unless you add another section.
- After sharing a survey, you cannot change the question type and delete the section.
- Hover over each question to perform the following as required:
- Click the Edit
Icon to modify the question.
- Click the Copy
Icon to duplicate the question.
- Click the Delete
Icon to remove the question.
- Click the Six Dot
Icon to reorder questions.
- Click the Edit
Note: After sharing a survey, you can edit the options in a question, add new ones, or hide them. However, you can only delete newly added options, not existing ones.
Note: After sharing the engagement survey, you cannot
- Delete the sections
- Delete the questions
- Change the question type
You can only hide the questions, which affect the collected responses.
If respondents have already submitted their responses and you edit the assignment, their responses will not generate for the edited questions. You must remove respondents and add them to make the updated assignment available to them.
After adding sections and questions to an engagement survey, you can
- Push it to the template library to make it available for other admins.
- Share it with the employees to submit their responses.
