# View and export survey responses in learning

Authors can [view](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/view-and-export-survey-responses-in-learning#view-responses) and [export respondents’ responses](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/view-and-export-survey-responses-in-learning#export-responses) to the survey, which allows them to collect context-specific feedback and provide actionable insights.

Navigate to **Learning** on the left pane.

### **View responses**

1. At the top right, click **Manage Resources**.
2. Click the **Authored by you** tab and select a course.
3. Go to the **Insights** tab and scroll down to the *Quiz Outcomes* field.
4. Hover over the quiz unit and click the **View By** drop-down.
5. Select one of the following options as required: 
     - **Respondents:** View responses by respondents.
     - **Question:** View responses by questions.

Toggle the button to change the view of respondents' responses based on their names and questions.

The below screenshot shows the respondents' responses based on the questions.

On the left pane, select the learner to view their scores, number of attempts, and number of quiz resets.

The below screenshot shows the learner’s responses based on their names.

### **Export responses**

Export respondents’ responses to the survey in Excel format.

  7.   Click the **Download ![Download Grey-1](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Download%20Grey-1.png?width=20&height=20&name=Download%20Grey-1.png) Icon** at the top right.
