# Submit survey responses

On the start date of the survey, employees receive notifications to submit their responses via tasks on the homepage and through email. They can respond through tasks and email notifications, or within the Survey module.

You can perform the following actions in the survey:

- [Submit response](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/submit-survey-responses-1#submit-response)

### **View survey**

You can view the pending, submitted, and missed surveys and search for them by name.

Navigate to **More** at the bottom of the screen and select **Survey**.

Click the **Filter ![TEA\_White\_Filter1](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/hs-fs/hubfs/TEA_White_Filter1.png?width=20&height=20&name=TEA_White_Filter1.png) Icon** at the top and select the survey status *Pending*, *Submitted*, or *Missed* as required.

### **Submit response**

You can respond to the survey on the homepage.

1. On the homepage, click the *Surveys to be completed* in the *Tasks* field.

This redirects you to the survey page, where you can view pending surveys.

  2.   Click the survey and click **Start**.

  3.   Enter your responses and click **Submit**.

You can save your responses if you want to submit them later.

You can respond to the survey within the Survey module.

 Navigate to **More** at the bottom of the screen and select **Survey**.

1. Click the pending survey, enter your response, and click **SUBMIT**.

**📒Note:** You cannot edit your responses once you submit them.

You can view your responses to the past surveys.

You cannot submit the responses for the missed surveys, which close automatically after the end date.
