[Employee](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/learning-lxp?hsLang=en#employee) # Register for instructor training Learners can [self-enroll in a course](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/start-an-assigned-learning?hsLang=en) with instructor training, or the author can assign it to them. You receive pending tasks if the author adds the - Instructor training in a course in which you are a learner. - Session in an existing instructor training in which you are an attendee. After you start taking the course, you can [register](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/register-for-instructor-training#register) for training and [unregister](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/register-for-instructor-training#unregister) from it at any time. ### **Register** Authors can add you to a course with a training session, allowing you to register. **📒Note:** If the author adds you directly to a training session after adding you to the course, the Register option gets disabled. Navigate to **Learning** on the left pane. The *My Learning* tab allows you to view the courses and learning paths you are assigned to or enrolled in the *Active* field. 1. Select a course with instructor training and then click a session on the left. 2. At the top right, click the **Download ![Download Grey-1](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Download%20Grey-1.png?width=20&height=20&name=Download%20Grey-1.png) Icon** to download the calendar invite for the session if required. ### **Unregister** After registering, unregister from the sessions at any time if required. 1. Select a course with instructor training and then click a session on the left. 2.
