Explore acts as a central hub for all content. It allows admins to create folders, organize content, and make resources easily accessible and discoverable for employees. Each app profile has a designated home folder where admins can add content directly or organize it into subfolders.
Account admins, app profile admins, and content publishers (CPs) can create folders and add content.
- Folders are created only in the web app.
- Content is added both in the web and mobile apps.
📒Note: Account admins can create folders and add content to them across all app profiles, whereas the app profile admins can do so only within their specific app profile.
You can add content inside each folder and to the newsfeed. Learn more in Add and manage content.
📒Note: Employees cannot view folders and contents in Explore if the visibility permissions are not given.
Navigate to More > Explore.
You can view two filters at the top to filter the newsfeed: Spaces and Content.
📒Notes:
- Account admins can view the filters in all app profiles.
- App profile admins can view the filters in the app profiles to which they have admin access.
- Employees cannot view the filters.
The Spaces filter includes the following options:
- Home: Displays the selected app profile’s home folder.
- Shared: Displays the folders that are shared with you.
- Picked: Displays the folders that you have picked from another app profile.
📒Note: If you select a folder within another folder or content within a folder from a different app profile, the parent folder is always copied. Both the parent folder and the selected folder or content will appear in the Picked filter.
The Content includes the following options:
- Archived: Displays archived content.
- Draft: Displays draft content.
- Quick link: Displays content added as quick links on the homepage.
- Scheduled for newsfeed: Displays content scheduled for posting in the newsfeed.
- Scheduled for removal: Displays content scheduled for removal from the newsfeed.
📒Notes:
- Scheduled content does not appear to employees in "Explore" or the newsfeed until it is published.
- Account admins can view the home folders of all app profiles, while app profile admins can view only the home folders of the app profiles to which they have admin access.
