# Manage learners

Admins, authors, or co-authors can manage learners in a learning. They can:

- Remove learners from learning.
- Nudge learners to complete learning.
- Reset learners’ progress.
- View learners’ recurrence history, compliance history, or both.

You can nudge and remove learners and reset their progress for [individual](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/manage-learners#indi-learner) and [multiple](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/manage-learners#multiple-learners) learners. However, the recurrence history is available only for individual learners.

**📒Notes:**

- When a learner starts a course, the "Reset Progress" option appears, allowing you to refresh their progress. The Nudge option is no longer available.

- If you reset, learners lose their progress.

- The "Reset Progress" option is available only after they start taking a learning.

- The "Recurrence History" option is available only for recurring courses. It is not available for non-recurring compliance courses.

### **Individual learners**

Navigate to **Learning** on the left pane.

1. At the top right, click **Manage Resources**.
2. Click **Authored by you** and select a learning.
3. Go to the **Learners** tab and click the **Overflow ![Overflow Menu-Oct-11-2023-07-43-45-1628-AM](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Overflow%20Menu-Oct-11-2023-07-43-45-1628-AM.png?width=20&height=20&name=Overflow%20Menu-Oct-11-2023-07-43-45-1628-AM.png) Menu** on the right side for a learner.
4. Select **Remove** **Learner**, **Nudge**, **Reset** **Progress**, or **Recurrence History** as required.

Also, nudge a learner by hovering over the *Course Status* field and clicking the **Bell ![Bell Grey-2](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Bell%20Grey-2.png?width=20&height=20&name=Bell%20Grey-2.png) Icon**.

### **Multiple learners**

  3.   Follow steps [1 and 2](https://help.theemployeeapp.com/manage-learners#step-one).

  4.   Go to the **Learners** tab, click **Actions**,and select **Nudge**, **Remove** **Learners**, or **Reset** **Progress** as required.

  5.   Select the learners manually or in bulk.
