The account admin can add content to the newsfeed to keep employees informed and engaged in an app profile. There are two ways to add content:
-
Newsfeed: For sharing updates, announcements, and organizational information with employees.
-
Explore: For making content easily accessible in one place for future reference. Learn more in the Overview of explore.
You can add content to all profiles. It allows sharing important updates, announcements, and organizational information with employees in one place, ensuring everyone stays up to date with the latest news.
After adding content, manage it if required.
📒Note: App profile admins can add and manage content in the app profile to which they have admin access.
Add content to the newsfeed
Add content to an app profile, which is saved in its home folder by default.
Navigate to Home.
- Click +Add on the homepage.
- Click the drop-down to select a folder where you want to save the content.
- Type the content title.
- Click the drop-down to select groups, allowing their members to view the content.

- The content is visible to employees only through the groups you select. Individual employee permissions are not allowed.
5. In the Caption field, type @ to tag employees and # to make the post searchable in the newsfeed.
📒Note: You can tag a maximum of ten employees and add ten hashtags.
💡Tip: Admins and employees can click the hashtag to view all associated content in a newsfeed. React, comment, or share (if the share option is enabled) posts directly from that page without opening each post separately. This makes it easier to find and interact with hashtag content.
6. Upload the content.
You can upload any one of the following content:
- Upload a file.
- Paste the web link.
- Type the rich text.
- Upload up to ten images to the image gallery.
The following advanced settings are optional.

💡Tip: Use an image with a 16:9 aspect ratio (1920 × 1080 px).
By default, this option is enabled. Disable it if required.

11. Select the date and time if you want to archive the content.
📒Notes:
- Click the Refresh
Icon to change or remove the date and time. - You can archive content with or without posting it to the newsfeed.

14. Click Create.
The content is posted successfully.

Follow step 1 and select Unpin to remove the pin.
If you add content to quick links, it appears in the Quick Links field on the homepage.
📒Note: You can add only seven posts to the quick links. To add another, you must first remove one.
Follow step 1 and select Remove as Quick Link to remove the post.
📒Note: Quick links are associated with app profiles. If content is marked as a quick link in one app profile, it appears only under the “Quick Links” section of that profile, not in other profiles. App profile admins must manually enable content as a quick link for their respective profiles.
